    How many bundles of extensions will I need?

    All of our extensions are sold in 100g bundles.
    For shorter styles (12” – 16”) we recommend 300g
    For medium styles (18’ – 24”) we recommend 400g
    For longer styles (18” – 30”) we recommend 400g – 500g (depending on individual preference)

    What is a closure? What is a frontal?

    Both closures and frontals are means of installation that allow all of a client’s hair to be put away by mimicking the natural hairline.

    Our closures contain a pre-plucked parting, whereas customers are free to part their frontal wherever they see fit. Both techniques eliminate the need for leave-out and can offer the appearance of a full natural hairline for those suffering with hair loss and breakage.

    Frontals require more upkeep than closures and are not suitable for all lifestyles.

    Can I colour my extensions at home?
    Yes, one of the reasons we work with Malaysian Virgin Hair is its ability to take colour. However, we highly recommend Kevin Shanti London for all your colouring needs. Any home-colouring of extensions is done entirely at the customers own risk and we will not refund or exchange any extensions that have been coloured, dyed or tinted

    How long will my unit take?

    The bespoke process takes time and there is only one Kevin Shanti! Please leave at least 7-10 days between your consultation and your fitting appointment. If your unit requires several stages of colouring, please allow 10-12 days*

    Are you based in a salon?

    Yes. Kevin is currently stationed at DARE Salon and Academy (Leytonstone branch) where Kevin Thursdays – Saturdays.

    Do you provide natural hairstyling services (braids / locks / twists)?

    No, at Kevin Shanti London we specialise in hair extension services.

    We are proud to recommend our partner & multi-award winning hair salon Purely Natural who specialise in Afro and Mixed textured natural hair.

    Do you provide men’s services?

    Yes! Kevin began his hairdressing career as a barber’s assistant and offers male grooming services on request.

    Deposit

    A £30 deposit is required to secure your booking. This is deducted off your final bill and is non-refundable for missed appointments without 48 hours cancellation notice.

    Cancellation

    We understand that plans change. Please give us the courtesy of 48 hours notice should you need to cancel. Your deposit will be retained and we will happily move your appointment to a better suited date & time. Your deposit is not retained and non-refundable for missed appointments without 48 hours cancellation notice.

    Bespoke wig services

    Due to their nature, full payment is required in advance for bespoke units.

    Can I buy your extensions in-store?

    Our extensions are available to purchase online only, or to purchase in-store during your appointment.

    How long will my order take to be delivered?

    UK: 3-5 working days
    International: 7-10 working days

    What is your refund policy?

    Our bespoke service strives to meet each client’s expectations, we encourage our clients to be vocal so we can rectify the problem. If you are unhappy with your end result please let Kevin know before leaving the salon and we will do our best to rectify the situation either immediately or at a later appointment. Due to the nature of our business all sales are final.

    If hair extensions appear faulty due to quality issues, the fault must be reported to us via email within 14 days of the receipt date. Any home-colouring of extensions is done entirely at the customers own risk and we will not refund or exchange any extensions that have been coloured, dyed or tinted. We will not be held responsible for any extensions that have been damaged due to the negligence of the customer.
